SciFi and Fantasy Art: Gollum perhaps?

An avid Tolkien fan, I find it hard to believe that I didn't see the resemblance of this picture to the character Gollum from the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books. I originally intended to draw a zombie, but when I showed it to a friend, he pointed out the coincidental likeness. I whole-heartedly agreed, and so that's what it became.

25 Jul 2000	Ralph Anthony Attanasia	Loading... WOW! This is gollum captured abslutely perfectly. You have, probably the best Gollum at Elfwood. He is ABSOLUTELY, 100% PERFECT! (Does Perfect-Gollum Dance) Come see mine sometime in Gallery 441. He's not as true to the description, and kinda silly, but it makes me happy. Great Gollum, by the way.

As zombies also sometimes have thes bubbleeyes(?) and this almost mummyfyed body is just great for an undead.Cool drawing.
