| 26 Jul 2002 | aaron | The femir i think is a touch short... That first hip/knee joint thing is what that ball of muscle is covering... I think anyway, i am trying to find a picture of a quarterhorse or clydsdale in this pose to check... | |
| 27 Sep 2002 | Veve | I don not think the legs are to short it simply looks like one of those extremely strong miniture horses ( I forgot what they are called because they arent quite ponys ..) oh well Nice work! | |

| 12 Oct 2003 | Gutz | This is a wonderful drawing. I hate to criticize it at all because it is not a photo, but art. And really fine art. He seems to me to be more of a pony than a horse, possibly an Austrian Halflinger or the draft type of Morgan. He has character and I love the leg action and the whole head/neck/mane area. It is a very believable pose and the strength of the animal is obvious. The one thing really wrong, like another comment said - is the rib/belly area. He has no ribs and all horses, even racehorses, have a bit of a potbelly - it's where they keep their internal organs suspended along the ribs and spine. I’d like to see him about 10% longer with ribs - and he'd be anatomically perfect. This is wonderful horse art. You have a great talent. | |
| 28 Jun 2005 | Meez | I like yor way of drawing horses. Maybe but only maybe, this one's head is a bit to big. But nice body and it looks like it is moving, and not only lifting its legs. | |
| 29 Oct 2006 | Triskil | I've come across this picture many times throughout the years I've been visiting this site, and I like it more and more everytime I see it. I love how stocky he is. Perfect sizing for a beautiful animal. | |
| 20 Jun 2007 | J. Thomason | The eye is small, or maybe not, but it's very well done. I just don't see why its fantasy... it's great, keep it up! | |
