SciFi and Fantasy Art: Warhammer Fem

This is another character pic for my girlfriend. I am fairly happy with the product, but I certainly see room for improvement. Please leave comments and suggestions.

Nice pose, like it very very much. Sorta looks like my girl, in a way. Just has a slightly messed up nose, if you know what I mean, nothing big, you proabaly mean to do it that way, i'll shut up about that now, but then the only other mistake i can see is the slightly curved warhammer. otherwise, great pic.

Some suggestions: unless you were going for a specific look, try bringing the eyes down a little and shortening the nose; the mouth may be a bit low; the upper right arm is lookin' kinda skinny- even women warriors have some muscle, if not much bulk; the stomach looks disjointed as there are indentations where the skin meets the clothes- try smoothing the transition out some; to give more balance and impact to the picture, try making her weapon bigger; and lastly, though you probably won't want to change your pic this much, it would add a lot of stability to the pose if she didn't look like she was walking. Oh, and shading always helps. By the way, I don't usually critique pictures this much, but you asked!- I actually think this is a really nice pic, the clothes and all are quite koo. : ) Good job!

Awesome job. Try giving her light plate or leather armor.

I like it, add a little flesh, some protection (shoulder badge, pieces of plates over her legs or maybe a chest plate.

I like the idea, but dude... when I look at your pictures at girls I see your big (or biggest) problem - The faces! You seem to never have been looking at faces, The faces on your girl-pics gives a kind of insecurity to the pics. You have a girlfriend right? Look at her! Study her face, find the things that gives her face life and try to draw it.

G'luck! =)

I think the hammer is OK, it looks built for speed and agility versus raw power. If she swings it fast enough, it's gonna hurt something.

If you'd like to see an example of what people are talking about on the face, take a look at a slightly edited version of your pic that I did for you to see as food for thought:

I think overall the drawing is fantastic, but I do think the face would be more realisitc with the mouth and nose moved up a bit.

Keep up the great work!

Kinda Tank Girl type. Cute.
Reminds me of the hammers we use at work. Me and my friend were searching for a tool most like a warhammer and found something similar to this. though it weights only 2.5 KG.
