I drew, colored, and painted like most kids do, I guess, then detoured into other kinds of design,(jewelry feather masks, and costumes mostly). The costume thing led to fabric art, silk painting, whch led to 'The Hobby That Went Berserk', and eventually landed me here. My nephew introduced me to tattoo art a couple of years back. 'Wow! People as canvas!!!' I was fascinated but I knew I'd never be able to make up my mind to one thing or even one theme, so I came up with a way to have it all. Silk-screening 'Tattoo Art on sheer hosiery.People liked it, so I got a couple of patents and it became a small business. That required a website, so I got a used computer, an Amiga with delusions of Macintosh (a software emulator) and it came with Photoshop. I stumbled into the program and fell in love all over again. I've been playing with fantasy themes ever since, slowly teaching myself how to use the silly thing and enjoying it thoroughly. I've been a 'lurker' at Elfwood for a while now, enjoyed everyone else's efforts and hope some of you will enjoy some of mine. I don't have a homepage or gallery as such yet, only the business site, but I welcome e-mail and any comments you want to make here, of course. Changes, I have retired the old Amiga, now working on a Mac G3 with newer versions of the system and software I had. Time to clean house here too, remove some pics, add others.

| 27 May 2004 | Katja Alakotila | I can't really put my finger on it... that something that intrigues in your art... Honestly, your style isn't really the kind that usually would appeal to me, but still there's something luring in it. I really like and respect your unique and bold style. Keep up the good work! : ) | |
| 6 Nov 2004 | Paul White | Hi !!! *smile* Thanks for the very kind comments on my art. I'm not a writer, Nope, i just write to help my viewers understand the thoughts and emotions i try to capture in my images. I started doing this a few years back, because some people had a hard time "seeing" the feelings behind my images. I kinda liked it after that LOL !! You have a wonderful talent yourself. I am captivated by the the images in your gallery. Thanks again, and keep imagining. | |
