| 8 Jun 1999 | Jennifer( gal102) | Tiff nice attempt i like the face on this one.. !! u need to work on wings.. though..so my suggestion is go to the library and get a book on butter flies.. and just trace the outside of it until you get the right style you want and also try to no make the wings go behind her head.. you want her to look light and delicate so and your wings sometime make her look a little larger then life...but great attempt... i will help ya if you want.. | |

And go for either a verticle pattern on the dress, not horizontal, scince the lines in the brick, it seems to flow together. Other than those 2 "suggestions", I say you did a wonderful job! | |
| 29 May 2000 | Pam Boutilier | I have to disagree.. I think you can learn a lot from tracing - as long as you don't let it become a crutch. I think tracing gives you a feel of the lines and spacing, but don't stop working at your freehand drawing! I love the position of her feet, and you've made the dress fold around her extended leg. Good job! (If you want great tips, get a copy of Betty Edwards' book!) | |
| 9 Feb 2003 | Hanna Engkvist | I like the posture, it really looks like she's leaning slightly toward the wall, and you did a good job on the body. I like the curves! What I think you need to work on is the face: The eyes should be more in the middle of the head (she needs more forehead) and the nose looks like it's drawn from the side rather than straight on. | |
