In so doing people will realize that it is not practical to fight in such an outfit, but for elves which do not exist in the real world maybe it works just fine. Keep up the good work and don't let stupid people get you down!

And about the armor, I don't think most people realize just how heavy armor is, by keeping it down to a minimum (like in this pic), you can move a lot better and faster, making you a harder target, but you'll still be protected in your vital areas. Very well done. I like it. Great detail. Exactly! I wish more people would think like that. It was exactly what I was going for, but got twisted up by everyone else.

awesome pic i like the close and the dagger plus the background pulls it of nicelyIf a guy didn't hold the door open for me on a date I wouldn't be inclined to go on another one with him. You are exactly right, critic, the whole fem lib thing has gotten WAY out of hand.

| 12 Jan 2005 | Mirfain | Loading...I love this picture. The elf isn't quite Tolkien enough for me, but its stoill incredibly good, and just because I base my ideas on Tolkien elves, it doesn't mean evrybody should. Extremely good. The ears are loads like how I imagine the ears of the Katherine Kerr elves to be.
Its a wonderful pic, and I'm not even going to start getting into the feminist argument, as it strikes me as completely pointless, and irrelevant conisdering this is an art site, not a feminist one...
| 19 Jan 2005 | Felblood | Loading...Her armor is ornimental, lightweight, and a bit skimpy, but those are the sort of thing we've come to expect from elven armor. Her outer thighs, abdomen and lower neck are all protected. Those would be the key points to cover if your enemy was using a serrated knife like the one she's wearing. I do think that leg armor would be a lot more comfortable with pants under them. That single strap must chafe. | |
| 3 Feb 2005 | Desiderium | Loading...Very realistic proportions, I wish I could draw the human figure like that! Love the look on her face. She looks like the kind of person you should think twice about messing with - I mean, she's got only light armor and just one dagger, but she's still so undeniably confidant and even looks somewhat bored. Looks like there's more to her than meets the eye. Very nice! | |
