| 16 Aug 2006 | Kristin A. Erickson | This is such a wonderful style, and the details are so intricate! Great job and congrats! | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Paul S.Valley | Woah i love the chain mail, must have taken ages to do | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Sveindís Ţórhallsdóttir | Love the colours. Great picture and congrats on the mods! | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Tyler R. Durbin | I really like this. The sword is freakin awesome! Great detail and colors, and the armour is nice too. The only problem I have with the armour is the bottom. It might be just me but I don't like the style. But you are the artist and I am but a mere writer who wishes he could draw lick you. Again, good job! And congrats on mods choice! Grace Dawn Palmer replies: "The armor's actually referenced from a Byzantine suit of mail. Fair not to like the styling, though. Thanks for the comment!" | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Natalie K. Tapley | Lovely! The colours look fantasstic and i love the stance and sword. Looking good! | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Wayne D. Hingley | Very cool site, lots of variety in your pics and colors. Congrats on the very well deserved mods choice. That sword is freakin' huge-a-mongous. | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Mĺns Kronvall | Beautiful and inspirering! A two-handed sword is unexpected but not unsuitable. A good Mods' Choice! | |
| 18 Aug 2006 | Gregory D. Lyons | Spectacular costume/armor design! I'm always very impressed by an artist who can draw armor well. The figure looks great, the background looks great, everything works. Great job! | |
| 19 Feb 2008 | Saskia H. Suurling | Great picture. I’m amazed by all the detail. You did a great job here. | |
| 28 Mar 2008 | Naridill(no, it’s not Elvish, Icelandic) | Such skinny arms to wield a sword as tall as he is. If the chosen warriors are chosen for their aesthetically pleasing faces and ridiculous hair-dos more than their ability to guard anything, I’m all in. Just joking, magnificent piece, there are some here to appreciate the work you have to put into a project like that. My commendations, Miss. Grace Dawn Palmer replies: "The character in this piece is actually female - contrary to popular fantasy art style, you don’t stay busty in chainmail.
Also, a zweihander (sword of approximately that size from 16th century Germany) would have topped out at about seven pounds. " | |
