SciFi and Fantasy Art: In the Age of the Sun-King

'When Tarthalis the Immortal was young, before he came to his calling, he served a while as a priest in the court of the Sun-King, and was reknowned for his wisdom.' Picture of a character of mine. Lots of fun Art Noveau drapery and the kind of stippling that's going to give me arthritis before I'm 30. And just to quell the comments, it is a boy, even if it's hard to tell. Pen and ink.

14 Feb 2004	Barbara Anne Hernandez	Loading... Okay, I just have to say this before I go and draw a picture to prove I'm better than cousin and drawing. This picture's detail looks painful indeed. I could tell it was a guy off the bat and he's pretty good-looking too! ^_~ The overall greatness of this picture leads me to ask: would you mind if I put this on my tour? I just have to say - don't color it. It looks real enough as it is, if you colored it..... oh dear... or maybe you should... if you get bored enough. Congrats on Mod's Choice!
