SciFi and Fantasy Art: Guard Duty

J'ktal is pulling a little 'guard duty' in Mizraim's capitol, Hyksos. I'd sure hate to be that guard. To the sides are statues, and the back wall will be shrouded in darkness and covered in heiroglyphics. Yes, J'ktal's body is there too, just well hidden by the jackal's body. He is the Death-Shadow, remember? Hs to be sneaky. Let me know what you think.

You know... I might almost be able to feel sorry for the guy. Okay, so even my heart weeps for those J'ktal gets his paws on. But very, very deep down. This is very good- it gives the effect of motion without having to use motion lines. Seven out of nine thumbs up.The thought of you buying gloves is a scary one! And, perhaps he's not going to slit this fellow's throat, maybe just take him hostage. You never know with J'ktal...

For the first time in......for the first time I'm going to be serious. This Picture emits (imits?) sneakyness. His pose is perfect and the innosence of the guard just makes it that more captivating. The hand is esp. good. I never did real well with them. Leave this one scetchy it adds to the effect.Well, it will be cleaned up, but the really good sketch lines will remain in place. And thank you for being serious, it makes me feel better about your comments. I plan to have a lot of fun with this image.

These drawings are awesome but if you could find the time you should color them they would look even better!Well, I've got a few I'm planning to update here soon, so you might even see this one in color in the near future.

Could you have him kill my cat please? No.
11 Dec 200445 Kit
why not?You can't afford him, and right now J'ktal is better off with your cat in power, anyhow.

Well... when I first saw this pic the first thing that wen´t thrue my tiny little brain was "They´re egypts! they´re egypts!"
I just love thing´s that can be connected whit egypt as it was for a couple of thousand years ago. And it´s a great idea to have animals instead of humans.
I think that this is a pic that will look great when it is colored (If it isn´t already).I still really want to finish this one out, but J'ktal isn't being cooperative.

Gah!!! Besisdes that your art is great wonderfull and freaking unbelieveble and the fact that I am an anthro fan. That is a great interpatation of doing Gaurd duty my freind, I love that originality. Well about the drawing, the pose of the gaurd, so unsespecting! I can't draw to save my life but i do appreciate great art. Great stuff. You rock.I've said it before and I'll say it again: Drawing takes a majority of two things, and a minority of another. Big parts practice and observation, and even with just a modicrum of imagination you can produce whatever you desire. But just don't skimp on the practice or observation.
