SciFi and Fantasy Art: Jackal

No jackal in particular, just an Egyptian jackal. Think I finished this guy in less than an hour, but I'm not sure. Oh well, I'm liking my new colorign metheod, so I'm sticking with it. Tell me what you think of him.

MINE! gimme! *huggles the jackal* Though don't traditional egyptian jackals have darker fur? Or is that Just anubis? ANYWAY! I love his colors, and I am very jealous.Actually, he's a pretty standard looking jackal, though his back is darker, and kind of black stripey. But, most jackals are light, otherwise they'd stand out against their backgronds. Anubis was made black to symbolize death.

He's deliscious lookin' mmmm ^_~Really? I just thought he was kind of scrawny and normal looking... And I must say I've never had a guy call my guys delicious before, that's a first.

I really think this is awesome. Nice job on the scetching, but one comment I've been told that he has longer pointer ears and that he's black. Other than my lame comment I'd give this an A+!Well, he would be black, IF HE WAS ANUBIS! Sorry, nothing against you, but this guy is NOT ANUBIS! He is a normal jackal. There, I've said it. And thank you, I still am quite fond of this one.

i think your art is amazing. One thing though. I don't mean to be rude or anything but i think the snout is a bit thick for a jackal....but thats just my opinion. Everything else is perfect! great job. LOVE IT!Well, this fellow was my first ever jackal, so I made a few mistakes. Their muzzles have become slimmer since then.

pretty pretty pretty

I love this pic. What's he pointing at? A pyramid perhaps? Well, this is a really really good pic. Love the cuffs and the necklace. And the feet is really cool.Honestly, just like the other jackal, I have no idea what he's pointing at. And, thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed this one, though I might do a re-do of him soon, because I'm not happy with the background.

"Hey look! There's something over there!

You don't see it?

It's right there! RIGHT THERE! The little yellow speck! See it!?"Ah, yes, the piece that started my theme of jackals pointing at things...
