SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rastivar

Rastivar, a general in the Esverlandic army, studied the art of Kajii-Thal, a sword style using two long blades. He is an Asian Golden Cat, and here we see him in tradtional training attire, even though at this displayed age he would be in far different clothing. A central character in the book Waves of the Kris that my friend Andrew Kibelbek and I wrote, he is a practical, and formiddable guy who takes little gall from anyone where his charges are concerned. Truly an interesting character, I still enjoy how Andrew writes him. Rastivar is the intellectual proerty of Andrew Kibelbek.

ooh this pic is just too neat. seems like your book would be quite interesting with characters in it that look as neat as Rastivar!Heh, they're quite the cast, I'll tell you that. I really ought to do a group picture so everyone can see the cast of the book. I'm glad you like Rastivar, I had both a devil and a blast of a time making him, here.

Ahh, Rastivar's looking quite well in this picture, if a bit perturbed. You captured his character beautifully, Mitch, and I love it! Regal, but severe, powerful, but disciplined... And I've got him framed and hanging on the wall over my computer so he can glare at me when I'm struggling with writer's block. I owe you one!I'm glad you like him so much; getting him finished in time for the flight was a trick, but I was quite happy with how he came out myself.

wow O.OAre you trying to incite a staring contest? I'll have you know, I killed three men in a staring contest in Tijauana. Really, you can aim a hair dryer right at my eyes and it won't phase me.

Wow! Dude, I really like your artwork. I love the way you have given all your characters humanistic characteristics and made a whole story on a piece of paper. Great colors and detail. I hope to my artistic skills reach a level like yours. It takes lots and lots and lots of practice. Annoying, aggrivating and mind-numbing practice.

"Do you feel lucky punk..........well do you?" that is what i reckon he is thinking. but the chinesse charecters don't go wi th the the whole im a animal and i tear you to pieces if you pee me of cleche. Remember in one hand there is my drawings (line) and the ther is yours (Amazing pieces of art i could never dream of doing).

So in one hand /line\ and in the other /amazing piece of art i could never dream of doing\.

So if i were you, don't listen too me.The "Chinese" there is all fake, and his species is an Asian Golden Cat, so it fits according to his history. Besides, who said I was going for cliche? Not me, because I gave him sabers, not jian.

Dang, you sure wouldn’t want to make him mad! He’s one tough looking guy.
