SciFi and Fantasy Art: Roland

Roland Valentin, a Cossack beaver, is usually a quiet fellow, unless angered, and then you better watch out. Standing 6'3', this beaver is a powerhouse fighter, and prefers to be left alone. A woodcutter by trade, he keeps himself in good physical condition with hard work. While he is a rock of common sense, Roland isn't terribly intelligent, and has a short temper.

I like that it actually looks as if he got the muscles the hard way, instead of by means not beneath California's current governor...How much do you actually know about Arnold? Have you read his books? Though he did take steroids for a while, much of his bulk came from proper diet and incredible exercise. And, yes, Roland is huge.

I like the fore-arm muscles, just about everyone (excluding the artist of Pop-eye cartoons) undervalues muscles on the fore-arm.The forearm houses all the muscles and tendons that power the hand. If you want a strong grip, develop your forearms. Glad you like him, too.

Love his front teeth, and the whole dim witted violent sheltered red neck thing (though somehow I got that violently and subtelly wrong =D) Very awesome. Again - you really rule at drawing clothes (though he's not wearing many) and I love all the little details and whatnot... the muscle work is fantastic, really fantastic.Clothes can add a lot to the character of a... character, I find.
