| 10 Sep 2002 | Tom Nemes <tomnemes@fan...com> | This reminds me so much of the Jeff Easley painting with the big red dragon coming at us. Nice work with the prisma colors. -Tom Nemes Fantasy-Emporium.Com http://www.fantasy-emporium.com Timothy R. Haldane replies: "LOL, you know, I think maybe I had that one in mind! Comic books (X-Men), cartoons (Thundercats), and those 1st-edition D&D painted covers were my very first inspirations to draw. Easley's painting probably was sitting there in my subconscious directing the whole act of drawing it." | |
| 8 Nov 2002 | War Owl | I HOPE thats a smile on his mug? I'd hate ta think HE is in a bad mood! hee hee, (edging close to the Elfwood exit!) Timothy R. Haldane replies: "Dragon practical joke. BOO!! Just kidding! Just kidding! Stop screaming, please, and come back!" | |

| 23 Jun 2003 | Kraj | Stunted wings explaination (justification) to follow: because of the dense forest environment this dragon lives in, it primarily moves by walking on all fours to crawl through dense underbrush. Therefore, it never even learned to fly and the wings barely developed into adult wings at all as it matured. The wings are standing straight out because the dragon is attacking and the wings are reacting as part of a reflex, such as a modern day animal's ears or tail might. How's that? Timothy R. Haldane replies: "I think I found myself a PR guy!" | |
