SciFi and Fantasy Art: Longlegs

Ok, not much symbolism here. I merely went through a phase where I drew weird alien creatures with human-like faces that have no distinct features. So is this creature perched upon a hilltop, gazing at the horizon, or is it, perhaps clinging to the furry back of some animal? You decide.

The way the creature is leaning and the subtle 'motion' of the grass/fur seems to imply (to me) that there is a wind blowing through wherever it is. I personally think that the creature is standing on a hilltop watching something approach from over the horizon...

10 Dec 2000	The Artist	Loading... Ever seen the Dali piece with the elephants with spider legs, teetering scores of feet in the air? That was the inspiration for this. I kinda like how it looks like a tiny parasite of some sort, though, where the grass almost looks like hair. Not sure which I should say it is.

30 Apr 2003	Tanya Kozik	Loading... "I vant to suck youR blud." -shudders- this is some uber-flea critter.... At least it puts my mind in that sort of direction... I LOVE LOVE the pose, and the tail, it looks like there's wind (or it IS a flea and it's owner is moving) and I love how even though there not much facial features, but the critter still manages to look quizzical.
