SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Raven

Remember that the raven sat upon the bust of Pallas (Athena, for those who don't know) just above the chamber door. Here sits the raven, although the carving of Athena is a bit romanticized and domineering, the lighting is just the effect I wanted.

That raven is awesome, and, for all you naturalists out there, is meant to be surreal and horrific. Love this!

I had to stand on stage to represent the bust of pallas, but they gave me THE MOST RETARDED helmet i have ever seen ever ;_; it was a football helmet with pipe cleaners glued to the top to make that roman helmet fuzz and it had a veil in the front. it was horrible ;________; but your picture is great
