SciFi and Fantasy Art: Emergence

Second picture in a series, this pencil drawing depicts my dragon as it pries itself from the confines of its leathery shell. I never did like the baby bird look that some artists seem to prefer. I always imagined baby dragons as being more independent, ready to scamper off and find a meal after leaving their egg behind. 30 Mar 2004	Jessica L. Stachyra	Loading... Great shading on the Dragon! I would suggest a bit more emphasis on the seperate eggs, in places they almost seem to melt into one giant mass, so a slight bit more variance on their shading would improve that. This is truely amazing!!
