SciFi and Fantasy Art: ApprenticeHere's a picture of Eileen learning to cast a fire spell. This is the first time I made her clothes blue, I hadn't even thought about the idea of Eileen wearing blue before! I think it suits her very well. The cloak she's wearing here is a longer version of the very first cloak I ever created for her, though the old one was green. Coloured in Photoshop 5.5 | |
 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 13 Jan 2006 | Salena | Ooosh, that cloak is cool. I think blue was a very good colour choice. Normally, I'm not all that much of a fan, but that's just hawt. ^^ I am a fan of brunettes, though. I lurve her hair. Oh yeah - **first comment dance** Jennie Hålén replies: "I like the cloak too! Thank you for commenting! Take care!" | |
| 17 Jan 2006 | Ana 'Nick' Wagner | Grrr! I am sick with envy at your drawing skills! Why can't I draw so well? How did you learn to do that? This is one of the BEST photoshop pics I have ever seen! I still can't believe it's even possible for a human to meke something like that... By the way I love the cloak lineart... Jennie Hålén replies: "Wow, thanks a lot! " | |
| 18 Jan 2006 | A warrior! | Hey, that's really cool, how you put yor signature on the front of the book! I should try something like that! And the fire on this is amazing...How the heck tdo you draw so good anyway? Jennie Hålén replies: "Thanks! I like the idea with the signature too!" | |
| 12 Feb 2006 | Hannah 'werewolf' Louise - Crawford | Wow very cool pic.^_^ Blue does indeed suit her. The fire is very well done and i love her hair.^_^ Jennie Hålén replies: "Thanks! Yeah, maybe I'll draw more blue clothes for her? Hmm..." | |
| 9 Apr 2006 | Clotho | OMG, thats AMAZING! can i steal ur drawing skills? Jennie Hålén replies: "Thanks! Hehe, you can always try ^__~" | |
| 12 May 2006 | Raven Mourn | Cute! I want a cloak like that! (Well, maybe a different colour... Like crimson red...) Anyway, just checking out your gallery since I was looking through Lise's. Even though this is the first pic I've looked at, I think I already like your art. Great outfit and fire, and yeah, everything! Have a grand day! Jennie Hålén replies: "Thank you for commenting! If I would have a cloak like that, I probably would choose an orange one ^.^ Haha, but maybe that's too much." | |
| 23 May 2006 | Linda ´Liénwyn´ Nilsson | I really like the anatomy on this picture... I mean, her hands are simply a piece of art by themselves - so well done and realistic - and then the shape and 'roundness' of her body (here I mean that he doesn't look flat (a good thing)... not that she's fat) The folds and clothes are as always wonderful, and I really like the design of the cloak, and the use of different shades of blue in the colouring. The book is very well done too and you have really managed to get the depth in the picture... though, there is only one thing that disturbs me: is almost too much movement in her hair. Now, of course, I don't know if it's supposed to be like that, so I might just be mistaking, but judging on the rest of the picture it might be... Anyway! Very nice work! ^^ Jennie Hålén replies: "O.o Omg! I was sooo close to erase all the comments for this pic! *breathes out* Anyway, thank you very much for commenting, your comments are always so fun to read! About her hair - the big amount of movement is supposed to be a decoration thing, plus to bring some supernatural feeling to the picture since she is casting a spell. " | |
| 13 Jan 2008 | Gwenivere Stephan | Nice, the outfit is really lovely. Her face is cute. The cloak is really well done, by the way. Her eyes have... green pupils? Neat! I love the fire and how it is positioned around her hand. Nice picture. | |
| 14 Jan 2008 | Jaenelle Angelline Sadi | Honsetly? I don’t like the face... I think it’s the eyes, they look odd. But the outfit is adorable *steals your cloak* | |
