SciFi and Fantasy Art: Corruption of Innocence: Angel and Death

I absolutely love pictures that throw the normal concept of good and evil out the window. This was a doodle that began in one of my classes (Art History I think) that I continued to work on until it was a full-fledged drawing. There was going to be a series of several pictures, but this was the only one I finished. Done in pencil, then inked with a ballpoint pen and shaded in pen.

I love the idea behind this, kinda shatters the typical idea of what good and evil should be. Hell of a piece.

I prefer to think of death more as a neutral force, neither good nor evil, also I think that death was in fact an archangel before he became death, which I think makes the two's love of each other quite plausible.
The drawing could be picturing deaths departure from heaven just after god has given him his new job, which could explain the sad look in the angels eyes.
I already see a great story coming out of this that I'd like to write, and if it is OK with the artist behind this picture, I'd like to use it as well.
So if you would like work together with me on this story, I would really appreciate it.

This drawing is great, but I did kind of notice that her right foot looks more like a left foot.

I noticed the same as Christina did but i guess this like the all time death vs. angle naughty vidio. It's pimp though!

hi'a there.

This picture is really cool. I love those pieces written or drawn that just spring out of nowhere during classes, especially if it is a really boring class. I also really like the angel's face it is very innocent and sweet. Death must be a very alluring being. Great Work ^_^

Am I interpreting things right if I say that Death is the innocent one being corrupted? The picture certainly does look like it - there's that look in her eyes and the sort of surprised pose in which Death is standing.

If so, it's a really awesome twist to good and evil indeed 10 If not, well hey - it's still a really kickass pic.

Great art i like how you capture the sadness of the world
if you look at it, death has no one.
Nothing cares for death, this reminds me of a soldier
going out to battle the never ending war between good and evil
and him saying good bye to his love one

for death has no side and with a swift of his blade
he release you pain and place you in his world were you will face judgement.
