SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Pale Woman

The Pale Woman, false prophet and wicked counterpart to one of my absolute favorite literary characters ever, Robin Hobb's character of the Fool. 'She was white, as the Fool was once white, and her hair floated unbound around her shoulders. Her eyes were colorless, as the Fool's had been when he was a boy. Her face was his, softened into a woman's countenance. Her beauty was unearthly, cool as the ice that surrounded her [...] She looked down at us, held on out knees before her, and appeared neither pleased nor surprised.' ~Robin Hobb, 'Fool's Fate'. I took a LOT of artistic liberties with her throne, but I like it anyway.

She's absolutely gorgeous. I had to look at the entire picture and take in all it's beauty. The chair is amazing and she...she is a goddess in her own.

Hiya, I *just* finished that series! And boy was it a fantastic ending (perhaps?) that last book, Fool's Fate! I was very happy with the outcome, and FitzChivalry finally got Molly back. But poor Burrich :*( But anyways, I think this is an excellent picture. Make more of the characters from these books! lol

You seem to love Robin Hobb. Good choice in books 1 I have yet to read The Live Ship Traders and The Tawny Man Trilogy though.
Nice work. I like her alot. The first thing I actually thought was the White Witch from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. She looks really good though. Love the dragon wings on the throne! Keep up the great work.
