| 8 Jan 2005 | Kitten_244 | Hey, thats kinda like the plot to "Daughter of the Drow" by Elaine Cunningham (Dunno if I spelled it right). Liriel ventures onto the surface on a journey to etch a rune into a tree to be able to use her drow magic on the surface. Her companion, Fyodor, is a Rashemen berserker who isnt in control of his battle frenzies, and he's on the journey along with Liriel to be able to control his frenzies. Liriel can't decide between two goddesses, Lolth or (I'm not really sure what her name is.).
I don't know if I explain it well enough or whatever. But I'm thinking you've read it before. Liriel's goddess Lolth, is a spider queen. And she doesnt want to be a priestess at that school. But it's a real good piece. Drows are my favorite type of elves. So mysterious and evil. ^_^ | |
