He is the Flag bearer of the woodland, a herald a page to the queen who guides you into the forest. he speaks not a word from his mouth but volumes with his eyes.

Second, i'm about to sneeze, hold on a tic. atchoooo! ok, Second, it reminds me of the elf that guards the entrance of Ellesmera in Eldest, who speaks naught at all. (the second book in the Inheritance Trilogy, with the first being Eragon)
