SciFi and Fantasy Art: Treebeard concept

This is my original drawing for my first painting (that will come later, have to scan 2 differnet images and combine them) I flew through this one. It have been to hell and back. If you look close it ripped by his hand, and I got paint on it too (big black splot). I'm really surprized how close the painting stay to this.

Neat! Treebeard! Ack, he's got a squirlhole! *falls over laughing* Really, I like it. I like the colar. It's not how I picture him...but my version looks like a stump. Can't wait to see the acrylic version. Was he supposed to be bald? Nice hands.

I'm sorry but this isn't my idea or Treebeard at all.it kinda looks like he's carrying a huge set of arrows, needs to cut his nails and is wearing a dress!!!! keep at it and i hope i like the painted version better !!!
