SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon in Human form

This man is a dragon. He knows better than to get involved with a woman, a human, none the less. This is an illustration to go along with a short excercise I wrote (at my library on elfwood). You may like to read the story that goes with it. She is a warrior, but her heart has never been touched. I wanted her to look a little frightened and him to look intense, like he's lost in the moment. His thumb is supposed to be lightly touching her lips to keep her from saying 'no.' Done in pencil - I'm not so very happy about this one, am working on a replacement.

I didn't need to read the description to even see what was going on (well sorta, i wouldn't know she is a warrior). Anyway, his thumb is bugging me though. Thumbs curve outward a bit... so it should arch, so his nail is pointing back a bit more toward him than her. Not a whole bunch, just a tiny bit. I've been playing with my own thumb now to figure it out and at least on my hand it looks right.
