SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unexpected Rescuer

A class assignment, "Car, figure, water. Apply toward your market direction." I like mermaids... The guy's got problems, and maybe I'll redo it all, but I was pretty pleased with the water, at least. The beam of light.. Yeah. And I don't really ever draw cars, so that's why they've got issues, too. But that's okay. I like the mermaid.

She is not like all the other mermaids i have seen. She is not super beautiful, but average. Ilike how u can see through her tail.
