SciFi and Fantasy Art: Universe

Another old piece from high school. Honestly, I don't like the girl at all. (I really like the space part.) Oddly enough, this is the only piece I've ever won money for. ($25 in an art show) How did I do it? I covered the paper in oil pastel, then painted india ink all over it (except the girl's face and shoulders). Then, when the ink was dry, I took a scratch tool and scraped the ink off like strands of hair. In case you wanted to know.

3 Jul 2004	Robbie	Loading... Thats a pretty easy technique, but i often use it to make christmascards or something like that. It just looks amazing. Very good picture, i like the haireffect! ;-)
