The watercolour effect in the sky is breathtaking! Really amazing. I wonder if the wermaid would have been more of a silhoette against the setting sun? There is something just s alittle off about the lighting on the pillars and mermaid, but the watercolour technique is still just awesome! You should be incredibly proud of yourself. I wish I could handle watercolous with such delicacy. Thank you! I wasn't actually worrying about the lightly on those two things at the time I don't think... I think this is one of those ones that I'm going to try and redo at some point having had more practice with landscape watercolours.
