SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unicorn

Based on a photo I took of a horse that lived in thefield next to the house where we were staying on holiday in France a couple of years ago. This horse had a lovely foal that insisted on galloping up and down the field right outside my window all night. It felt like there was a stampede trhough my room everytime the horse went past. :s

16 Sep 2006	Tansy Pye	Loading... Hmmm what dance? I think I'll go for the first comment waltz for this one I love the gentle and calm pose of the unicon. You might need to revisit the mouth a little (My I am being critical this visit aren't I). She is a beautiful uni. The shading is just the right amount of delicate as well. Re do it in watercolours. More watercolours! I will try the watercolours, though I'm thinking maybe black ink like in my Chick comic strip might work better?
