SciFi and Fantasy Art: 'I Am Vengence''Don't worry about that.' She said, looking him in the eye. 'That last thing they will hear is my name.' 'Good, good...what is your name, by the way?' She turned as she strolled for the door. Her scar made her half smile seem wicked. 'I am Vengence.' This is Mara, one of my favorite characters, and the heroine of one of my stories-in-progress. After loosing her family, she takes up her father's katana, and makes a life for herself as a mercenary. In light of the drastic change in her livelyhood, she changes her name to Vengence, since avenging her family's death is her only mission. The title is the line she always delivers just an instant before sending someone out of this plane of exsistance. 'I am Vengence.' I use Shinbei, from Hakkenden for a model, and, this being an earlier pic, it resembles the one I used as a model quite a bit. I was trying to draw Shin, but he looked so girly, (sorry, Hakkenden fans, but it's the sad truth.) That I just ended up making a woman instead. And there was Mara! | |
