SciFi and Fantasy Art: Cartoon ElyseI don't draw Elyse by herself that often, and when I do, I rarely like the results enough to finish them. Female, human characters are always the ones I have the most trouble with, which is odd, considering I happen to be both female and human. Elyse is especially hard, probably because (until recently) I had not really taken the time to figure out what her character was like. I find that one I have the character down, the physical traits will usually follow. I am fairly happy with this picture, though. I like the cartoony feel of it (hopefully I'll be able to pull that off more than once ^^; ), and for once I think Elyse's face and proportions match her character. Now I just need a few more leading characters and a plot, and I'll be able to start my demon pirate comic =P | |
