looks very neat! You said that you had an oddity with the armor? This only suggestion I could make would be that it looks flat....well, I know it's that type of armor, but I mean the leather would at least slightly curve around his chet, right? My suggestion would be to mayeb just darken the shadows around his chest/at his belt to make it look a bit more 3d ^-^ Other than that I like muches!! especially the eye and the shading on his bicep...very coo! 2

I don't feel it is necessary to tell you once again what a good job you are doing so far, but as you did mention the odity with the belt, i offer a suggestion. To me, when i look at the picture my eyes are automatically drawn to the lightest object (Besides the background) and that would be the belt. One thought would be to darken the bright blue of the belt so that it doesn't stand out so much, therefore creating a more 'eye pleasing' appearence. Good luck.

Hey hey, that is some nice work. Considering your usually giving me advice I thought I'd give it a try 1 (dunno if you reconize the name)
Anyway, it's a nice start, better than what I could do. But if this guy is an Emporer, even a Cyclops? one, shouldn't he have a sign of royalty power? An amulet or necklace perhaps hanging down? Or gems encrested on the sword? Make the blade have a "metallic" shine to it. Anyway it's looking great, good luck with the project!

Brilliant pic! But I think you're right about the belt. Is it too high? Possibly lower down would be better, or possibly more shading would do the trick...
