SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Hollow men of Suranu

Within the steep and shadowed granite face of Dojadin river valley resides the Temple laboratorys of the Betheed cult, these sudo Demi-Mortals live a life of constant exploration into the workings of life and Magical energies for there master Betheed Suranu. Once a mortal Magi of extreme talent Betheed was obsesed with prolonging his life and his powers, becoming like the Mythical Demi-mortals. He came to an understanding that the only way a mortal was able to achieve this almost state of immortality was to throw off his physical body and only retain that which he deemed important his Mind and intellect, this worked but he was still subject to slow decay, for all his powers and intellect he needed others to achieve his goal. To start other magi with similar dark interests joined him in his retreat willingly helping him, and other great minds from across teh lands soon began to join him weather they wished it or not, for while he had gained his immortallity, his mind had begun to go mad once freed from its body, and many great magi over the centuries have feared being taken by the Hollow men, to be striped of the pyshical flesh and made to serve Betheeds obsession for everlife. 3 centuries latter little news has been heard of the Cults activities, and no people have gone missing. No one has dared investigate the Dojadin region in over 30 years, so perhaps Betheed and his followers, both volentary and involentary obtained, have final surcome to a mortals end?. Inked with Pen, painted in adobe, not that happy wiht background ^_^ but its not bad.
