SciFi and Fantasy Art: Morphing? Mermaid

ANOTHER UNFINISHED ONE!! Sorry, I just like getting criticism and ideas from you guys before I go too far...What's wrong with this maid? Is she changing? (maybe growing those wings I always put on my maids) is she wounded? Is she giving birth? WHAT? you tell me... ^_^

To me this looks like a woman in mourning because she's being forced to be of the sea... It looks more like she's being captured by the fins rather than losing them... Just my two cents! ^_~

I think it's a mermaid LOSING the legs she dreams of(and had), perhaps it is why she's so sad.

Her head is out of proportion. It is too big and the eyes are to high. Other then that it is a great pic. Love they way her tail and legs are merging. Hope you finish it on good paper some time.

this is good but take off some of the extra hair on the top.

I think this picture is very artistic and obviously you are very talented but i dont like when artists dont do the fins all the way up its not that it isnt good but i think you should change the bottom half

Wow...i really like that tail! A great concept...but, why does it have to be a painful experience?

With the way she's grasping at the sand and crying with her head tilted upward I'd say that she was in tremendous pain from the transformation process.

Love your picture! love all of 'em! Personally I think the girls eaten something fishy, or too much chili 'cos chili isn't a good thing in large amounts! Lol! Soz I got a wickid sense of humor sometimes! Seriously It looks fab, I guess it was a spur of the moment doodle (there always the best kind!), the kind you end up doing on napkins or in my case the back of your hand, I always do my best drawings on lined paper.

She's sad she was drawn on lined notebook paper and thus will never really look good...

I love it, only I would say she was giving birth. How else would she give birth other than morphing to have the child then morphing back? I also think you should finish the pic.
