SciFi and Fantasy Art: Maedhros and Fingon Kissing

I wanted to say that at first I thought this picture was disgsuting because of the homosexuality issue, but now I see very differently. As long as two people love each other it doesn't matter whether they are male/male or female/female. Wonderful work, Hope. I look forward to seeing more of your exquisite drawings soon.

What an exquisite piece. I'm struck by three things:
1.) The technically correctness of their bodies. Everything is very real, even their delicate hands and the tips of their ears.
2.) The way you have gracefully and tastefully hidden Maedhros' right side.
3.) (The best part) Their obvious passion. The position of their bodies and hands makes it appear as if Maedhros surprised Fingon with his passionate kiss. I love it.

This is beautiful. I love the use of color as well. It gave me the inspiration I needed, because I've just begun my own slash story about these two.Thank you for such a wonderful piece.

What realy struck me is the gentleness. Most of the kissing pictures you see here are well...'eating'. It seriously looks like they're trying to eat each other, but this is nice!

Like the pairing! Also like the way you´ve made Maedhros hair straight and not curly. It is a lovely scene and you can see the love sparkle between them!

A great picture, really beautiful... Though I resent the idea of making Tolkien's heroes homosexual... The Professor never implied something like that! But it's a wonderfully made image...

This would be great! . . . if only Fingnon was a girl. But the picture does work in his favour, since he does look like a flat-chested girl kissing a hot guy.
