I kinda immagined like he wasn't as emotional, that he looked at frodo and kinda thought, well, if he is middle earths hope i feel bad for middle earth, and that Aragorn was the one that was holding him and pressing Glori to take him....
It's been three years since i last read the books, so that's probably not it. But then again, take a look at this What if script- i thought it was good...
Da da dum

Aragorn: Glorfindel, he must reach Riverdale
Glori: My heart is heavy-he will not make Rivendale without the grace of my Lord.
Aragorn: Take him!
Glori: There is no hope.
Aragorn: Go, with the speed of your peope.
Glori: You are forever cursed with hope. I-
Aragorn: Go!
Glori: Will go.

I think that's a lovely representation of Glorfindel - he looks suitably non-human, but beautiful.

And the expressions on the hobbits are wonderful.

I was so angry when they left Glorfindel out of the movie! Awesome pic, it was painted right? Watercolours? Anyway, great job on everything, very realistic!

It's a good thing that speech is not required for typing because I'm choking on my words. You have captured this scene in a way my lucid imagination could never.I can't think of a compliment good enough to suit this piece of art.

Oh, my beautiful older brother Glorfindel.

*scans other comments* noone mentions the hobbits? LOOK AT THE HOBBITS! Poor Sam is so concerned and Merry's like 'don't worry, pip, strider'll take care of him.' and Aragorn's hands! They show how distastefull he is of the hilt, and back to the hobbits, just looky at frodo's face, you can see the pain, and well, then there's glorfindle and he's very elvish in every way and- *clamps mouth shut* must...stop...babbling! (This means that I like the pic12)

This is so awesome opossum! I have to agree with Evelyn Wightman--the Hobbits! Although I'm an avid Elf lover, the Hobbits come in just BARELY as second.

You've done a terrific job with them--really evoked the characters with each one, creating such distinct personalities for them. Not to mention they're cuter than a baby kitten.

Glorfindel is rather fantastic, too. He's a different representation from what I imagined, but somehow just perfect. You really gave him a sense of duty but detachment.

I love it!!
