The anime-ish touch in it certainly makes it beautiful to look at (obviously, Finrod being the fairest of all the princes of the Elves, couldn't be portrayed realistically; he's just too beautiful!). Few people bother to make Silmarillion arts and I wonder why that is so. Take my word for it, this is by far one of the best arts in Tolkien fandom. It's rather very original. | |
