SciFi and Fantasy Art: Meadhros in torment.

Now this is another of my Silm illustrations. It is of Maedhros hanging as Morgoth left him for 15 years. Rough stuff. There was much commentary between my friends on what state he would be in and I decided that windblown, undernourished and very VERY miserable was about as much as I was prepared to portray. It was all that was really neccessary to cary of the torment.

6 Jun 2006	Idril	Loading... Oh, Maitimo... my poor, poor elf! I mostly hate Morgoth for this cruel deed! You can see the pain and the torment he must be in - both physically and mentally. This scene in the Silmarillion makes me cry.
