SciFi and Fantasy Art: Angel of February

Nice pose, coupled with excellent garment design and control. THe shading here is first class as well. I am also growing really fond of those light wings that you use. Great drawing.

This is still my favorite, followed closely by feeling the wound. I'm glad you like to incorporate elves in as angels. Few that I have seen do that, but then again, I haven't traveled to all the far reaches of Elfwood (too many twists and turns and I get lost easily...smiles). I simply love her face, the way in which you shaded it, and how you put it at a slant (a very hard positioning I never seem to master). Her pose is relaxed, yet, like others have said above, she does indeed have an attitude quality which is an ironic twist. When we think of angels, we tend to think of them attaining a status that is above us, to the realms of no sin. Yet, here she is, beautiful as we always imagine, but then, there are the boots. Incredible...makes me think of the line 'Bad habits die hard.' laughs...okay babbling here. Oh by the way, I think you are cute and I think we should hook up sometime, giggles.

Ahh..those fab boots are peeking out from below her skirt...uuhh...how much did they cost? look pretty expensive to me, but then again, you can be a rich man once you get spotted Great work on the wings; they look so delicate!

The angel is a lovely combination of poise, superiority and feminine beauty. She has that imposing otherworld quality that suggests a magical realm beyond our attainment.

I love the idea that the angel is portrayed in a delicate mauve yet she reveals that she is wearing big black boots of a substantial solidity.

I love the wings on this, they really add to the overall shape. Do you use models for your sketches? What inspires you to do wings like that? This is beautiful How do you wash that colour over it like that? LOL I'm sorry for all the questions!
