| 29 Mar 2000 | Laura Freeman | yes, lovely indeed! I would only suggest more contrast, but the greyish tones do add that sort of artifact feel to it. I might also suggest a cool little sorta nautical border around it, but that's just me. Overall, I love it very much. | |
| 4 Apr 2000 | Kit Quarterman | This is easily my favorite of your gallery pieces. I would offer some criticism, but I can't think of any! | |
| 7 Apr 2000 | Tim O'Brien | Wow Sarah, this is amazing detail. I looks like stiple (or pointilism or little dots, or whatever), it must have take forever. Anyway I love the details, the churning water, and the reflection of the sun. This is my fav. | |
| 25 Jun 2000 | Clara Ann Underwood | My Goodness, how did you ever get all that detail? With what medium? Pencil? The detail and the shading are simply tremendous! (Thanks for visitng me!) | |
| 26 Jun 2000 | Terry .A. Ernest | This is wonderfull work Sarah!..it seem like a very fine sea mist over everything...a nice sence of mystery

| 27 Jul 2000 | Genevieve C. Baillie | Superb texture work! This must have taken forever to do, but oh my, it was worth it. | |
| 6 Apr 2002 | Fieari | It's all speckled! Is that an artifact of your scanner, or is that part of the picture? At first I thought it was a result of poor scanning, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to be deliberate. And then I think of the amount of time it would take to dot-texture that picture, and I am awe inspired. So I have to know... is it deliberate, or is it an error?
I might suggest raising the contrast if it's deliberate... that might help emphasize the effort that went into this.
| 16 Aug 2005 | Kathryn Muntean | *blink* Good heaven...look at all those little dots..
stippling never fails to amaze me because of the patience needed for it. Then you go and do something as extravagent as this!
Stunning! | |
| 30 Mar 2006 | Anonymous | Wow! You must of had a lot of time and paitance-great, fantastic
but it's a little too dark for my likeing
| 17 Jul 2006 | Rhiannon E. Knol | Just gorgeous. I don't know very much about drawing or art, so I can't offer much other than my sincere admiration, but this really is amazing. | |
