Good god, Davman... how closeminded are you? Did you ever consider that the fae folk avoid you because they know you would dismiss them as "not real"? The day a fairy or some such creature is "discovered" and put in captivity is the day the world falls apart. Literally. I believe the fae folk hold the world together on strings of stars.... And every time I try to draw it, it hides. And I'm sure every artist knows the feeling. Ahem.

Anyway, this is a beautiful picture, especially the leaves. I almost didn't see the fairy, she blends in so beautifully with the background.

i agree with you about Columbus. because technically America didn't exist, then Columbus supposedly "discovered" it. but it did exist. and just because we believe that fairies don't exist doesn't mean they don't. the opaki was a cryptid(for those of you who don't know what that means: cryptid- creature not believed to exist)and then it was discovered. it was not believed to exist and then it did. Which is probably how most people feel about fairies. sorry if I'm ranting, but i had to say that.

Now the art:
i almost didn't find the fairy! it blends so well but, I believe this fairy is used in another of your pics? just curious. but go you and your awesome drawing talents*bows to your greatness*
