| 19 Dec 2004 | Jennifer Russo | Hey there! I was just swinging by to take a look at some more of your inspirational and vivid work, and I came across this pic. I dont' know how I missed it before because this is probably one of the best in your gallery, concpetually. Again, this has ver good composition and is easy on the eye. I love the lack of depth between the two figures because it further emphasizes the idea that this faery is not objectively "seen". Keep up the wonderful work, Howard. I can't wait to see more of it in the future. Howard faria replies: "only with "enlightened vision" ^_^ thanks again!" | |
| 9 Jan 2005 | Betsy Tzu-hua Yeh | lovely!!!! a difficult idea to put down, and yet u did great on showing a thing that is felt but not seen!!!! i sure am stunned O_o | |
| 1 May 2005 | Clare | What does this picture symbolise? Do any of your pictures come from dreams or feelings? Why do you like fairies so much? Just wondering. Here is my e-mail if you need it to reply ponstall@hotmail.com | |
| 9 Jun 2005 | Stephanie 'Pegacorna' Small | Wow! This is amazing! You are a stunning artist with a lot of detail. Wow! | |
| 6 Aug 2005 | Danielle Harkins | Its scilent and touching to me, i love it!! The birdy is so detailed too, im jealous, i cant draw birds...aw, thanks danielle^^ never say never! time was i couldn't draw ANYTHING | |
| 5 Oct 2005 | Kate Aimee Conrick | You can really see the Froud influence coming through on some of the pieces in your gallery, this one especially! The bird is amazing, and you've somehow managed to make the feathers on it's chest actually look soft, which is.. incredible! The stones (are they stones?) are coloured beautifully, and the little faery is amazing, but I wish there was more background That's probably only because I can't do backgrounds though, so people who can amaze me Lovely drawing, I hope you get a better scanner sometime if the quality of this can actually get better! thank you for your wonderful comment. you're right, it does seem like the background is unfinished, and i really should finish it. i hope to someday. i also hope to find a decent scanner someday. thanks^^ | |

| 14 Jan 2008 | Saskia H. Suurling | The bird looks very realistic. This is a great pic! | |
| 4 Apr 2008 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | ...well, you also seem to be very familiar with birds i see... ! you do them beautifully, and there always seems to be this special kind of connection between them and your other fairy/beings, like in this one... very very pretty, i also like the soft background of the windows, makes it look very mysterious !!! Howard faria replies: "thank you! yes, i do like to invoke a sense of mystery in my work. and i occasionally like to do detailed drawings of birds as well (gallery in deviantart.com). and yes, there is a close relationship between the fae and nature ^^" | |
| 30 Apr 2008 | Amanda . Shantz | oh i love it.. I also agree with the comment about the special kind of connection between them and your other fairys... I love the feling from her made with the cool blues to emphasize her isolation. Then the Bird is so much different I just love the contrast it gives off. well done. | |
