    I am based in the West of London, and work in the airline industry. Travelling is a great way to feed the imagination, and I have also been inspired by the visions of many fantasy writers and artists. The images presented here have therefore evolved as a distillation of influences, along with some original ideas. Most of this gallery depicts scenes from the Alantheon lands of Ilorane and Iraldax (and surrounding nations)- my own distant world of magic and adventure. I use a number of different techniques to produce my pictures. I will sometimes start with a 'wild' background, and work on that; and other times do a 'controlled' picture (that is to say pencil drawing first). I mostly paint in acrylics, using airbrush and paintbrush. I have recently started to experiment with computer art creation, and combining painting with computer imaging.

    I was drawn to your gallery by your new submission about the water elemental. What a fine piece! I would love to read the entire story. Then, seeing the rest of your gallery, I see what a talent you have for writing and illustration. Or is it the other way around? Whichever is the case, I love your work.
