SciFi and Fantasy Art: Before the Storm Wave

It is told that a Lord of Laren held a feast at one of his castles on the coast. A storm raged outside, but the revellers were too drunk to heed the growing panic of their horses, or the Lord to attend to the screams of his favourite stallion. That evening, the castle was overwhelmed by a monsterous tidal wave, and all perished except for the great stallion, who went on to sire many such magnificent beasts. This is why the land of Laren produces some of the best mounts on the continent of Alantheon.

This is a wonderful pic.Theres nothing wrong with your horse.Strong and beatufel. After all he survied. I like the way you made the castle way of in the distance, almost like a memorey. The thing I like the best is those storm clouds. They are just WOW awsome. The way you put the reds around the horse and the blue on the outside.2Never mind all the rude coments. This is a master peace. If Onley I was a person with money I would bie it.

My, but you do stir up some controvercy about the strangest things....only flaw I see (unless, of course, it's intentional) is the placement of the rear hooves. Is he standing or hopping, as I've seen films of Lippizanners do? Hooves make it appear he's not in contact with the ground....but again, overall, a very nice piece.

Oh, the colours are fantabulous! And that castle is wonderful. Great job!

I agree, the colors here are superb! They give the painting a real sense of atmosphere.

Wow, I love all the colors, most excellent!!! But maybe, the back legs are a LITTLE too short. But maybe they are supposed to be that way? Well if you could could you come over and see my art? I'd appreciate any advice you'd give me!

Well, I really like the backround, but the horse is SLIGHTLY out of proportion. Where is his other leg? It appears that he only has 4. I think his muzzle and legs should be longer too. Other than that, well done!

Ohhhh, wow! Very beautiful! I love it. Of course I really love horses, so that has something to do with it. I wish I could draw horses that good. Wonderful!
