SciFi and Fantasy Art: Swamp Watcher's Keep

Perched on a rocky promontory on the Iraldan side, the Keep guards a major acces route to the vast Lushean swamps. The Watcher and his force provide sanctuary for those brave (or foolhardy) enough to enter, and ensure that nothing emerges to threaten the realm of Iraldax.

15 Feb 2001	Tamsin isles	Loading... this is so atmospheric. it's one of those pictures i look at and think damn, i wish i had done that. the colour scheme is wonderful, all those cold, damp, haunting colours. and it's a very unique image, but has the feel of more classic fantasy ~ a very good mix. despite the fact that i've never seen a building quite like this, the silhouette seems to stick in my mind.

The colors are wonderful! This painting and your description of the setting make me feel like I am really there! Great picture!
