SciFi and Fantasy Art: Demon Charmer 1 (Sketch)

Ink on paper. Picture 1 of a series of two. A sexy and seductive sorcereress uses her wiles and begiules a dastardly turned defenseless demon. I am currently coloring this picture in Photoshop. In the final picture they are both standing in a damaged pentagram with tipped candles, while her two impish familiars cringe in fear. The second picture of this series features a scantily clad sorcerer charming a female demon. I will scan it soon for comparison.

This is such a great pic! I love her expression!
One thing though, is that i wish she was actually clad in more than paint

Actually those are three-dimensional pieces of metal. I usually don't overwork my ink sketches so I can add the details in color. Hopefully someday I'll get the time to finish the color version and put it online. The main reason the outfit covers so little is to show, in a round about way, that she is powerful enough that she needs no protection against the demon.

How do her clothes stay on?

Spray on glue, spring-like tension, and magic are three possibilities. I prefer the spring method.

I've been here before... a long time ago. I did not appreciate this picture before. It's really intriguing and it creates its own world... Oh yeah... I never new sorceresses took dance! huh! A fantasy character en pointe... only a few more years until I can be en pointe too!!! WHOO!!! we can charm demons together... Yeah, before I didn't realize why she was so toned, but no I know that's because she can dance... GO DANCERS!!! *in addition to my "dance nerdiness", I'm also in marching band!!!(go band)*

Thanks for the compliments. I think you're the first to notice that demon-charming requires an element of dance as well! I also think it's hilarious that in complimenting my picture, you also managed to plug yourself twice. 9.

I don't think there's a thing wrong with it. The only thing you could do to improve it is colouring it. You have a ton of potential to be a comic illustrator..!! ^_^
