SciFi and Fantasy Art: Snort

this ain't your typical unicorn. I am sure that most unicorns are not as buff as Snort though he sure is pretty.

1 he DOES look like one of the My Little Ponies! Oh, I wuv 'im! What medium did you use for this? (I ask because I work with gel pens and this looks suspiciously like gel pens! ^_^ heehee!)

:-) Michelle Gonzalez replies: "yup gel pens, got to love them.He is a male 'my little pony' Cuz for some reason I always thought the ones from the cartoons and dolls were female"

Nothing wrong with a different looking unicorn. I think he's spiffy.

Hmm. pastels and unicorns always seem to go together... but the buff.. pony look deffinitly adds some character. 2 Though his body looks a little... BIG to be anatomically correct.. but what am I smoking...?! it's YOUR Unicorn! It can have any anatomics it wants!

This picture is Really Weird!!!
Good try but It wasn't what I would call
"Snort"

:-) Michelle Gonzalez replies: "Well I didn't ask what you would call him.Besides he named himself. He came right up demanded a sugar and introduced himself."

Oh this is so cool! I wish i was this good at using gel pens! And you are right, all the my little ponies do look like girls... (i never even thought of that till now...) the darker background was a very smart idea, it makes him stand out more, gives him more dimension than what is already there. ^_^ very very nice!

Hehe what a cutie-pie. What medium did you use for this? Pastels maybe, or colord pencils?

:-) Michelle Gonzalez replies: "Neither colored pencil or pastel,it's in gel pens. With a computer generated background"

Very beautiful indeed! Lovely expression. The only thing I can really say is you might want to spread his front feet out a little! I'm not around horses as much as a used to be but I don't think it's really possible for the to bend their legs that way...but still, it's a very cute picture. Love the mane and tail! Precious piece and beautiful color.

:-) Michelle Gonzalez replies: "Unfortunately, I can change the legs since I can't find the original, it was lost when I moved back home from college. And since it was done in gel pen it would have been difficult any ways. But Thanks for the nice comment!"

He sure is Beautiful! He looks oldish 2 me...THATS A GOOD THING!! He looks like he could be 1 of the first unicorns and then all the l8r 1's became tall and slender. I really like it!
