SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mermaid

This is a pic of a mermaid I drew. The first version of it is black and white, this version is much better. I like the facial expresion on her face. I need advice with body dimention and hands. I tried to hide the hands with her playing with water but I dont think that it worked out much.

Ooh this is quite cool her face is lovely - about the hands and proportions, the hands should be about the length of the face (i know this may look really big at times - but try it on yourself and see how far your hands cover!) try looking at e.G. A picture of a person to see the kind of dimensions of their various limbs etc.. But other than that its great Alice Dubois replies: "Lol. I had to laugh out loud with this advice. Im surprised I didnt think about it before! It's advice like this that make my day! Thank you very much. I'm glad that you enjoyed it."
