| 3 Jun 2008 |  Casey R Cunningham | Now, this is just simply wicked. This squirrel would totally kick the butt of any critter Lucasfilm ever ’created’. The guns are cool... This illustration reminds me of the covers that were done for the early printings of Larry Niven’s ’Man Kzin Wars’. I think the artist’s name is Steven Hickman (he did the art for volumes I and II... after that, I’m not sure). The dynamic pose, the call to action, and the strong lines make me think of a Kzin warrior. The falling spent cartridges are a nice Wu touch. Really, well done. | |

I also really like the weapon design, very detailed, and the rune like design across the straps is an excellent detail.
