SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Patron

This is kind of an angel...maybe..maybe not...She protects the soul of fairy until it's ready to be born. Then she drops it to the earth to be born. The one she's holding is a soul of a blue fairy. I'm not so happy with this 'cause I made few mistakes which bother me too much.;) Also I'm not so happy with the colours, especially the sky and her wings because I think they're too much alike.

See- look at the hands, now those are lovely! And I love your idea of another fairy protecting the youngest- like it should be. And the colours are fine, but I do agree a tad bit with the wings blending into well- if anything, just create an out line of white to make her seem more other-worldly or as you described her a glowing "kind of angel".
Oh! And I love her dress- you put so much creativity into the folds, which makes it quite unique! 12

hi there, I think, that one is reeeeeally cute - the idea, the concept, the colours... and I think there's no picture without a mistake, mistakes make a picture something special something imperfect, because one could always do some correction etc... You can be proud of this picture!!

hey there, I really like her eyes, they seem so innocent, and her hands are great, wow, she's so lovely. You've got a point with the wings, but don't fret too much about it, I think, it's the impression of the whole pic, which is important and this one's just adorable.

This picture is very lovely! Perhaps the wings blend in a bit with the sky, but that, in its own way, adds to the depth and charm of the picture.

:-) Ines Knaster replies: "Well..yeah..maybe..But I still think it would have looked nicer other way. But thanks that was very delightful comment.2 "

I love the fact that you’ve come up with a story to the picture, it’s just so original and it kinda makes the picture more alive. everything is great but I especially like the eyes
