SciFi and Fantasy Art: Norle the elf bard

This is the result of my very first request for a drawing. I must say I was quite surprised when I was asked to do it, but I'm glad I did. The biggest problem we had with this one was keeping it from turning into a girl and trying to get the skin tone right. Eventhough this isn't the final picture that was used, I think it wasn't bad at all... All comments to improve it are welcome!

Very nice work Inge! He's a bit too blond for my liking, but you did a great job on the scars, they look good. He definitely doesn't look too feminine either.

I think he looks great! He doesn't look feminine either. His skin coloring is good too. I tend to make my skin look too pink.

Hi! I'm glad to see Norle up here. Part of the reason he has so much character is that he was based on an actual character. And you had input in addition to your own putting him together. Thanks again, Inge

Poor boy... His beautyful face has many wounds... Okay, I've read the comments in your guestbook...2 I think, this portrait is great. The faces you are drwan and paint, are wonderful. I love your style.
