| 17 Aug 2001 | Queen Ryan Carpenter | FIRST COMMENT BABY!!! *scowls atnon-commenters* *grins at the artist*(Forgive me- I'm a critical person) Thispiece has wonderful potential, but Ithink that you should fill in the eyes,to give it some more character, and workon the shading. This has a Celtic styleto it- I like that- but you shouldconcentrate on shading so that it looksless like a drawing, and more like it'sTHERE. That's one of the tricks to art. Shading does a good deal for that. Iwould recommend looking at othermetrachrome artists- it's a littleharder to see in color. Guddorakku! *groan* My handwriting is So bad. Youcan tell this was a while ago. I hadn'tnotic until you mentioned it, but youare right, it does look a wee bitceltic. Which is dandy as far as I'mconcerned... I have lots of celticroots. I'll give shading a try, and sendit to you afterwards. Thanks for thecomment | |
